Our History
Friends Education Society, Bhadrawati, was established in 1976 by Bhagwan Gadekar, advocate Ram Khobragade, Duav Karmakar, Vasanta kamble, Ramesh Kamble, U B Gedam employees of the Ordnance Factory, Bhadrawati, with a noble vision of serving society through education. The Society aims to provide quality and affordable education to children from poor and underprivileged families, empowering them with knowledge, confidence and opportunities for a better future.

Leadership
Dr. Ambedkar Memorial High School, Bhadrawati Mr. Milind Bharat Waghmare, M.Sc. (Physics), B.Ed., has been serving as the Principal of Dr. Ambedkar Memorial High School, Bhadrawati, since 2017. With a strong commitment to education and social development, he has dedicated his professional life to creating a disciplined, value-based and student-centred learning environment. His leadership is inspired by spiritual ethics, honesty, compassion, discipline and social responsibility. As an educator and administrator, he believes that education should not only develop academic knowledge but also build good character, confidence, moral values and responsible citizens. His disciplined approach and sincere efforts continue to inspire students, teachers and the wider school community. His vision is to make quality education accessible to every child and to contribute to the development of a more educated, ethical, compassionate and progressive society.
